These climates have similar names and are roughly the same distance from the equator.

Prince Edward Island by a light year because the snowfall is fantastic and the summers are warmer.

I'm referring to them as North and South for convenience.

I don't find either climate to be very pleasant, but North's cool humid continental climate is definitely much better than South's perpetually rainy tundra climate (which most people would not consider inhabitable.) I suppose if you hate extremes, then South's climate is for you.

Wikipedia's information on South is also conflicting. The data box shows 247 precipitation days annually, but the article states that it has over 300 rainy days.

This might shock to some but I'll go with the Canadian one just because of the warm summers with warm ocean water. If a place can't even manage enough heat in summer to be able to grow trees, it gets an automatic F from me despite the milder winters.

I also choose the Canadian one for a real summer, thunderstorms, warmer shoulder seasons, and far more sunshine.

4 seasons vs. fall all the time? I'll take the 4 seasons

Prince Edward Islands have winters that are the same temperature as ours in Glasgow, but with almost double the rainfall. Their summer is like our November but, again, with almost double the rainfall. An extremely objectionable climate indeed. Don't think that climate will gain more than a vote or two.

Prince Edward Islands. I'm surprised I'm the only one who hates those cold winters.

Most are picking the Canadian one because it has a much more pronounced summer. I honestly don't know how you can stand summers that barely reach 10°C.
