but but Fraser Island is subtropical not tropical, not the fairest battle...

i pick Fraser Island, Aussieland. subtropical climates that border on tropical are my favorite

Somehow I didn't even see that one, lol. Looks more comfortable than Key West, though not nearly as many thunderstorms I would imagine.

How is Fraser Island not tropical? It has a mean of 18C in the coldest month and never had frost.

Of the choice Honolulu because i've been there twice.

But St Maarten I like equally if not a tad better.

coolest monthly mean is actually 63.85°F/17.69°C, falling just short of tropical classification.

According to that wiki link it has a mean temp of 17.7c in July.
