Thanks. They got back to me. Basically said they are only processing the observations (as we knew) but if there is a raw data these international sites provide they aren't aware of it. For a weather institution not being aware of it makes me question if it's even available.
So question is, do you know if they are providing the raw data? I would think it's always available but I don't know how oversea weather agency operations work. Maybe they only provide it on paid basis? So while the graphs & observations are ok to use, like you have been saying it wont be the "actual" max/min. But shouldn't be off much anyway. And doesn't mean you cant use the observations.
