1000 feet too short, but I prefer this climate, shouldn't be too different 1000 feet higher:

Erzurum has a pretty sweet climate, albeit too dry though. So I pick that one.

Denver, it's a great climate if you want something more seasonal... far better than anything seasonal in the Eastern United States or non-seasonal for that matter. Saqqez is also surprisingly good, with sunnier winter it'd be fantastic for a seasonal climate. Not a big fan of Erzurum though, it's not awful but not as strong as the other choices.

Wow Erzurum gets surprisingly cold in winter! i didn't know there are places this cold in Turkey. i knew there are mountainous areas that get cold but this is a very strong continental climate i'd expect to see in southern Siberia or Mongolia not in Turkey.

and more so to see a climate in Europe that is just as extreme as Denver at the same latitude and elevation.

huge difference going to the Black Sea ~90 miles to the north.

as for the poll, they all suck. Denver may be the least worst but over my dead body i ever pick Denver in a poll.

Erzurum has the best summers (both Denver and Saqqez are too hot during the summer), but Saqqez seems to have the best winters (not too cold like Erzurum but colder than Denver, also nice amounts of rain). Tough choice but I think I'd pick Erzurum.

Denver for having the warmest winters.

Should've done more though (like, La Paz).
