That's the downside of warm climates for me - cockroaches were everywhere in Asia, disgusting! Also the size of rats I saw in the street at night.. they were enormous!

Yes, same as the ones from Málaga: They can live there a few warmer winters and then goodbye. Hahahahaha

If we don't see pics it didn't happen... I also know the guy who says that in palmtalk but he didn't show proofs from there.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a pic somewhere & it was quite an established specimen, not a small recently planted one.

I asked for the pics many times to the only guy who stated that but he never posted them.

You have maybe seen the pic of the garden of the east side of Madeira, he mentioned Porto Santo very close to that pic in the thread "Coconuts in Madeira"

It's only 43 km from Madeira where we know there are established trees so it would seem more sustainable than Málaga.

Just a quick look on the internet & I have found a Coconut palm growing in a front garden of a house for sale in Porto Santo Island & this isn't the same one I remember seeing a photo of...
Villa situated in the urbanization Salgado, in gated communi...
