That map was wrong in 1993 and it's still wrong today. Doesn't include Brisbane or the Canary Islands and it should go further north on the east coast of Mexico.
That's the downside of warm climates for me - cockroaches were everywhere in Asia, disgusting! Also the size of rats I saw in the street at night.. they were enormous!
I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a pic somewhere & it was quite an established specimen, not a small recently planted one.
