FOCUSED OVER THE COASTAL NORTHEAST STATES. 13Z/8AM EST OBSERVATIONS
DEPICT AN OFFSHORE SURFACE LOW /APPROX 988 MB/ OFF THE COAST OF
SOUTHEAST VA/DELMARVA WITH A PERSISTENT NORTH/NORTHWESTWARD-
EXTENDING NEAR-COASTAL CORRIDOR OF EARLY-MORNING PRESSURE FALLS OF
AS MUCH AS 2-3 MB/2-HR OFF NJ INTO NEAR-COASTAL SOUTHERN NEW

Stupid dry spot that was here, ugh. But now it's snowing again here and should for most of the afternoon, I believe. There seems to be at least a foot of snow on the ground already.

I think we're closing in on half a foot as well. Of course I can't find a ruler.

Good to see the entire region is getting in on the action.

I witnessed lightning at 6:14 this morning in College Park, MD (a suburb of DC). (actually saw the flash despite closed eyes in bed. It was followed quickly by fairly loud thunder)

My first thundersnow ever!!!

Despite the hour & a half lull in the snow here, now that it's picked up again they're still saying around 8 more inches for Philly. Probably about the same here.
