Same thing happened last year. Ironically same time too. Jan 24th, 2015 was when we started the snow cover and cold.

Some pics that my parents in central LI sent me around 3pm EST. Probably only 10" at the time.

Man, I want to shovel some snow so badly right now. Nothing felt better than shoveling a foot of snow off of my driveway. Used to really love the feeling.

Yup.. Precip breaking apart. North winds, dry air, and storm moving well away now. Still some areas are getting heavy snow. Is Atlantic City about to get smacked again?

Boston and southeastern MA were getting their heaviest bands of snow then at 10 pm. Looked like it was coming down hard and windy there.
