If you want a similar place to replace Bariloche, it's El Bolsón, located nearby and at lower altitude. Its average annual minimum is -7.9ºC.

Let's say that Sutherland beats all of them by a long shot.

Don't think so. More severe thunderstorms, number per year is about the same.

Srinagar, Batna and Paris are the only climates I would accept to live in. The rest are all crap. Thredbo, Torshavn and Bariloche are the crappiest crap of them all! I hate places with cold summers, and I also dislike those with extremely muggy summers.

Amazing to me is that an 8b like that in Australia is almost totally broadleaf evergreen with snow and mountains around.
There didn't seem to be a deciduous tree in sight.

Sutherland is easily my top choice, although Alexandra, Bariloche, and Batna aren't too shabby but they could use some improvements. I think Sutherland makes places like Dallas and Wilmington look slightly unreasonable but that's my opinion. I'd take all those over somewhere like Dallas or Nanjing.

Also, I'd assume that Sutherland has tons of sun, probably more than any other choice other than Batna.

Srinagar's highs are so identical to where I live, though December's is a few degrees colder. I envy those winter lows... think of what I could grow if it only got that cold.

I voted for Wilmington, NC. I could definitely live in that climate. Srinagar would be a close second.

Vancouver, Canada

Better than Paris because of it's exceptionally good summer,
sunny and very comfortable almost every day.

Dallas is terrible, much prefer El Paso, best 8b climate in Texas.

Others are not very good either, Joe90's climate is better.
