Yet another day stuck sitting in traffic and dealing with aggressive drivers. I am seriously considering getting an apartment closer to work.

Omg I just read the Nanking entry on Wikipedia, that is one of the most ****ed up things I've ever read in my life! Even in the wartime it seems extreme, I just can't believe the things people would do to each other...

The massacre thing? Yeah, that was quite brutal.

There's a Chinese film on the subject. One of the best movies I've ever seen.

Nanjing! Nanjing! (2009) - IMDb

(Better known in the West as 'The City of Life and Death'.)

I could watch it, seems like a solid movie. Hopefully it's accurate

What the Japanese soldiers did almost made the Nazis look like saints in comparison. The amount of effort they put into it is horrifying. Damn this thing is gonna be stuck in my head for a while now

It's a fictional movie. But quite powerful, I definitely recommend it.

Here's more on the subject if you didn't know about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731

I mean I did get that vibe, but like I said it's new to me.
