one of my friends died last weekend and it really hasn't hit me until now. I'm feeling very sad and down right now. He didn't deserve to go this way. He was such a good guy. I wish I was drinking with him right now, he was one of the most laid back and cool dudes I've met. He will be missed for sure. I don't wanna be sappy ******* on here, but I think I just need to get my feelings out there.

I'm sorry Alex. I feel you, I had my former flatmate pass away some years ago.

I thought you were studying nursing and moving to the UK?

Too much tragedy now. God damn, this is awful. I wasn't there at the rodeo last night, though I occasionally do go to this rodeo, so I'm just reading about this now.

Just barely. We're talking literally about 1-2°C difference in winter. Unlike DC, you can actually take a train to the seaside in NJ or have a quick weekend excursion to New York City cheaply. DC is a tiny bit warmer, but I think there's more to do in and around Philly. Well, DC does have more "foreignors" than Philly (but then so does NJ) which makes DC interesting in that regard. Oh choices. If I had to pick Philly, it would be because the city and it's surroundings sprawl a lot less. Philly is more compact and walkable than DC.

What a sh*te start to summer with two well below average cloudy days that feel more like late November than the start of June
