We are all humans, you're getting too excited about imaginary man-made borders.
Nothing to do with borders either. It has to do with blood kinship. Why do you think I would exclude Ukrainians living outside of Ukraine's borders? Obviously, I wouldn't. Political borders in and of themselves really have nothing to do with ethnicity.
Anyway, do you mean to tell me you have no higher regard for whatever your ethnic group is than the whole of humanity? If so, you are part of a very small percentage of people who can actually say the same.

I try to be nice with everyone, not considering their ethnic group.
