I made a forum with a friend of mine when I was 11 (my friend was 10). Needless to say, nobody ever commented apart from us, the forum went inactive for several years and it eventually got automatically deleted. LOL nice memories!
Thanks a lot for not declaring war on us during WWII, unlike the lousy Brits, Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders did. We can forgive, but we can never forget.
With the Fall of France we weren't given many choices. Either it was Germany or peril at the hands of the Russians. For decades we claimed that we were 'co-belligerents', but except for the Holocaust we were as allied as allied can be with the Germans. FDR realised that we were a reluctant ally, and Finland should stay on the map, if not as a buffer. Churchill again took a sip of whiskey and declared war, though Britain's efforts were one half-hearted bombing raid towards a small Finnish port in the Arctic.
I know! I wish I had written down the coordinates.
I had coordinates for some Norwegian awesomeness but lost 'em.
