No, but I know what area you're talking about. I heard something about that on the weather channel, too. I have a neice in Hollywood and one in West Palm so I'm guessing that's very close to the warning area.

I'm not sure if anything happened in Fla., but the weather channel was showing that there were tornadoes that his in the South yesterday. Sorry, but I'm not sure exactly what town and I don't have a link, but I'll bet someone will come along who has one.

Still severe this morning as I type. Ugh! This weather freaks me.
All night there were warnings.
2 touchdowns so far (Cocoa Beach and I think Miami).

Watches aren't that bad. I was in Collier county we had tornado watches and warnings (more chance of a tornado) weekly in the summer. Just stay indoors. If the wind starts a blowing go to the bathroom or an internal room.... Rarely do they get above an F 1 or F2.. unless youre in a trailer it probably won't blow your house away, just damage it. In the 24 years I was in Fla I saw 1 tornado, well no it was a water spout.

Lightening in Fla is more likely and dangerous. We had that hit the side of our house twice and talk about a frightening ordeal! Many a nights we sat up, no power lightening striking almost every couple of seconds with a radio and flahslight waiting to hear weather warnings.. Sigh.. I'd take that over this snow anyday!

[center][SIZE=5][color=#800000][b]Was pondering recent tornadoes that struck in Jauary and remembered the 2006 tornadoes that struck between Indiana and Tennessee, especially Mt. Carmel,Illinois. Moderator cut: link doesn't work
