Miami & Penrith, closely followed by San Diego...

I'd also be careful with the Valencia climate page on Wikipedia as someone was constantly bumping up the figures on there a while ago...

Idk. Sometimes San Diego would feel much better than Scilly.

Actually I'm pretty sure The Isles of Scilly are zone 10a not 10b, also Valencia Airport is zone 9b, with an annual absolute minimum 1981-2010 of -1.9C. I don't even think Valencia Central weather station is zone 10b, but hard to find complete years data. Best I could find was 2000-2012 & even then lots of data was missing, but using those years the annual absolute minimum comes in at +1.0C, making it zone 10a. Not exact but the missing data could have lower minimums & not forgetting that the 1980's had some very cold winters too...

I used wiki as the source for Valencia and then found another source that sited Scilly as also 10B but your sources are probably more accurate. I was trying to find two European hardiness zone 10B climates one oceanic and the other Mediterranean with hot summers. Do you have any other suggestions?

Guangzhou near the bottom?
Is it just the cloudiness?
I thought you'd prefer steambath humid summers (which are pretty similar to Miami) over non-summers that require jacket use if the winters pretty much remained frost free .
