Southern New England for more sunshine hours and proper summers and spring/summer thunderstorms > The coastal Pacific Northwest's gloom and non-summers where all rain is cold, mostly drizzly with no thunder.

The winters in both suck though.

Would I rather be sentenced to 20 years in a North Korean penal camp or win 100 dollars in a lottery? Difficult choice but I think the 100 dollars is a bit better

I'll repeat it's the least thunderstorm-prone place east of the Rockies. Still better than the PNW

I don't like either, but being in the eastern half of the US is the lesser evil.

New England for a better variety in weather. Plus, I hate dry summers.

PNW hands down... nowhere in New England can match Brookings, OR for number of subtropical species grown...

New England. Northern preferred.

Cold Blasts, snow, large diurnal ranges in Spring & Fall and the instability of not knowing whats next.

I believe less overcast days in New England as well. I experienced 190 hrs straight of no sun and I hated it.

Summers suck though in southern New Eng mostly.. Too hot and humid.

PNW easily. Nice summers and mild winters. NE has frigid winters and humid summers.
