Yep, very welcomed for the ski resorts of the region. Left in the photo: Catedral ski resort 5 days ago; right: Catedral now

---

Also today Buenos Aires setted a NEW RECORD. With a max of 14.5ºC it has recorded now 80 days below 20ºC in a row and counting, breaking the past record of 79 days dating back to 1984. Really impressive to break such cold records on this warmer 21st century

Oh, totally didn't expect that. Lol...

And yeah, it has been so cold nowadays. It's a dry, windy sorta cold. Bone-chilling and uncomfortable. It's like 14C, but it feels like 8C due to the wind chill. Ouch.

I'd take a damp 14C any day.

I'm back in Sydney at the start of August, so hopefully I skip the worst of winter and we have a pretty warm August. Although the Bureau isn't showing a particularly encouraging forecast.

Take it with a grain of salt. It's hard predicting weather after a month or two.

I remember that in autumn they forecast this winter to be a warm one, when it wasn't. Granted, the first fortnight of June was warm, but we did receive cold snaps. It turned out that June was average. Though this July is still below average, at least here in the west.
