Summary: Finally some rain!! Had 10mm from rain early this morning, followed by a very humid day with increasing clouds in the afternoon! Late afternoon started to hear thunder and by 7.30pm had a decent thunderstorm, plenty of lightning, thunder and collected a further 2mm from it! Temp has now dropped to 66F and finally is very pleasant, sunshine returns with lower humidity tomorrow!

Clear and beautiful all day today, to round off May. Also the coldest May night I can remember for a long time, it got down to 1.0°C at the airport which is 0.4°C off the all time record (0.6°C).
Summary: Was a warm and slightly humid day..very sunny and DP was generally In the low 60's...DP has now dropped to the high 50's with a low tonight expected of 55 which is substantially cooler then previous nights!
Quite stunning, as Ouse is one of the warmest Tas climates in terms of average high temps. It's in a valley, so is suspect to inversions and fog which is what I am guessing happened today. The record low June high is 0.9C according to the BOM. June 2015 had a high of 1.6C Ouse, Tas - June 2015 - Daily Weather Observations
I'm going to study that climate a bit more, looks real interesting.
