This map here isn't too helpful since you don't have the precip shown while the storm is over Lake Erie; but it gives you the idea of the mid level temps for 8am tomorrow.
Latest Euro showing the freezing line is near NYC and below freezing northward. So no snow for south of NYC.
See the warm air with the storm, that's all pushing east so changeover will be fast.
Here's a data look at the latest Euro for my area.. The precip shown is for prior 6hrs so Euro is saying at least 1/4" will fall while mid level temps are under freezing.
Timing sucks though because it's not happening at night. ugh!
This is gonna be close!!
Meanwhile it's 80F with hazy overcast here...thrilling
Crazy.. I haven't gotten out of the 40s today with sun!
3pm temps. Watching that precip to the west... Clipper time. Cool streak of clouds over NYC that's connected to Canada
I was just about to ask if these clouds came from the Great Lakes, I recall you mentioning last winter that you were able to tell by their appearance. They look foreign (and ugly lol) to my eyes.

Lol, yeah from the Satellite it didnt look like it would be pretty from the surface. Is it stratus type maybe?
40 with a 26 dew right now unfortunately it's cloudy but the air feels quite dry and there's no rain
High of only 41 so far, the lowest max since early April!
Minimum only made it down to 36 this morning, so still no freee this month (lowest was 34)
Temps have been between 36 and 57 since the 20th. Very stable for this mid-fall. Also, 6 of the past 7 days have had sub-10 diurnal ranges and. Shocking (and unfortunate).
Finally, hope the snow line creeps west. Would like to see at least a few flurries fall.
