It will be the norm for years to come. Little by little winter colder weather is going away as winters get shorter.

I think the past few years the Northeast is developing a pronounced seasonal lag. Scorching hot August/September, warm autumns and December, and then all the snow breaks out in January and doesnt seem to end until April. Maybe the warming waters of the Atlantic play a part in this

Cambium is really living in a bubble. Literally everyone in the US except the northeast and south Florida is well above average.

Really enjoyed the cold, wet, windy weather this week. Even had some sleet Thursday morning.

Still a chilly 37 F/3 C (10:50AM), but expected to reach 62 F/17 C today.

Yes, I predict my area by the Ohio River in southern Indiana will not even see a freeze (low temperature at or below 32F until the end of November- a full one month later than average). The coldest low temperature so far has only been 42F in an area not within the Louisville urban heat island..

Amherst has averaged 1.8°F above normal month to date; harder to notice above average weather as it feels normal — just the weather we had a few weeks ago. But even normal late October temperatures feel chilly compared to what I'm used to
