In Yakutsk January's record high is lower than June's record low, and February's record high is colder than July's record low. However, December's record low is simply too cold for any winter record high to be lower than it.

Any others?

Holy crap those are some crazy climates. Avg low of -33 in NE China?
And Turpan is the only place I can think of right now to have avg highs below freezing in winter and still get that hot in summer.

It says -36.2*C for average low in January. Wow, that chinese climate is too extreme. Almost like Yakutsk.

Some places which are very close (within 2C):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyzyl#Climate
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulaangom
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6r%C3%B6n

Also, there are more places which would satisfy this if we eliminate early June from consideration, for instance Tiksi, Norilsk, etc.

Indianapolis, Indiana comes to mind, as that location has an intensely continental climate with four strongly marked seasons

What is that supposed to mean?I am merely stating the obvious fact that Indianapolis has four distinct seasons and has a considerable range in yearly temperatures

That's not what the thread is about though.

This is frustrating because you have climates like Verkhoyansk that come close (record winter high: 22.5 F, record summer low: 14.2 F), Mohe as well (record winter high: 31.8 F, record summer low: 26.2 F). Hell, not even my own ****ing dream climate meets the threshold . There has to be at least one climate that meets the criteria. If not, I'll create one.
