Yup, I'd rather chug a pair of 4Lokos which would be 1200 calories and get a good buzz as opposed to drinking 1000 calories worth of nasty-tasting beer which will only get me a bit tipsy
If you want to get buzzed and count calories, then start necking shots of vodka or have a G&T.

Fortunately I'm Russian so vodka is like water for me lol. Next time my table decided to order beer I will go to the bartender myself and ask for some shots
WHATTTT!!!!! We haven't even had a single storm this year!
Bloody Bingleyerfffff derp.
Edit: looks like there's quite a lot of activity over Lancashire and Cumbria, and a bit further east over the Pennines. How is it?
Looks pretty much over now, probably only a 6 or 7 by our standards but I wasn't expecting storms at all, the evening here was sunny, breezy and quite chilly for the time of year.
Most of it looked to be N or NW of us, so I doubt the rain gauge in Bingley will have picked up as much rain as we have considering it's in the opposite direction.
Why in the world would anyone want thunderstorms? I hate them. I'd love to never experience one ever again.
I've always loved seeing the sky randomly light up and go boom and then watching the raindrops hit the ground so hard they bounce off it. Even though I know the storms we get are really tame, it still does you good to be reminded of the power of nature once in a while.
It's a bit more of an event when you live somewhere where it only properly happens maybe twice a year or so, when you're a weather enthusiast living in a boring climate you learn to really savour any kind of dynamic weather that makes its way over here.
