When you go to NOWData or Climod or whatever you use, and select snow depth, then select sum. That gives the number of snow depth days.
So Bridgeport should be 102, and New York JFK should be 75, etc.
It's a weird stat (similar to heating and cooling degree days) where you multiply each of those 16 days in NYC but the actual snow depth in inches that day. So a day with 2 inches of snow on the ground gets 2 snow depth days, one with 10 inches gets 10 snow depth days, etc.
I didn't realize that until reading this thread so on the poll I checked 10-29

Oh, cool, thanks! This is interesting stuff. In that case I choose 1000-2999 more towards the 2500+ range.

Ahh, the heating/cooling degree days. Never thought I'd use that but found myself checking a few times.
No re-dos on voting, we know you like heat and no snow. Just kidding. Maybe part my fault for my post... Post your official answer.

Interesting. I didn't expect Burlington to be that much higher than Buffalo, or higher at all. I guess long snow season beats the higher snow totals of Buffalo. Caribou is the champ at this measure.
