Belgium and Brussels is notorious for being boring, while Argentina is notorious among South Americans for having really ugly beaches, especially in comparison with surrounding countries

Argentinians are also known by other South Americans as a very "uptight" people, thinking they're better than everyone else. A lot of people call them "false Europeans" also lol.

I don't think that way, but a lot of people do.

Yupp, everyone told me how Argentinians are very "vanidoso". Could be because people care about their appearance A LOT. Lots of people with dyed hair, everybody is in shape, expensive clothes, etc. In Chile I feel like Zayn Malik in comparison with everyone else, in Argentina I feel like Steve Buscemi lol. It's not a bad thing to look good, as long as youre not pretentious about it

I had an Argentinian lady tell me one time "such a shame, you're such a handsome guy, if only you were lighter skinned"

A lot of them do act pretentious, and I used to really dislike Argentinians. However I've learned over time that people are....people. I've met some good Argentinians.

Btw - In Venezuela, we use to word "sifrino" to describe what you're talking about lol.

Why?

Chile and Argentina are practically on the same level nowadays, Argentina is much more developed tho cause historically it was richer, but Chile is on a better trajectory

You do realize there's European looking people in every South American country right? And there's brown people in Argentina lol.

I know plenty of Venezuelans who are white, blonde haired with blue eyes. I also know black Venezuelans. And obviously Venezuelans that are like me (brown tone).

Sadly they words like "negrito" very liberally here in the Southern Cone, they even use it to describe Peruvians/Bolivians who are obviously not very black
