Oh look, our X-ray candy detection system has discovered that ugly Irish kid in row 5 has his own pic'n'mix, GRAB 'IM. It would be OK if he was English, of course, but, IRISH!
And?? Northern Ireland is part of the UK, it's not like you are from Botswana Owen... Do you think Welsh or Scottish people would be searched when going into an English cinema?
I don't go to the theatres to watch movies but to socialise and blow in my vuvuzela. I also speak loudly on the phone. I mostly enjoy spoiling future scenes for the others.
If I ever go to the cinema, it's usually the Everyman cinema. It costs more, but it's worth it. You can drink alcohol and eat pizza when you're watching the movie. There are no (or fewer) under 18s as well, which is great.

I am just so sick of all this snow we are getting. It is so inconvenient. Spent all morning on Saturday shovelling in front of my house only to have it snow again on Sunday. Then on Saturday night, I lost power right when I was working on something. I mean why the @#$# do I always lose power during a snowfall? It is ridiculous. No wonder snow always puts me in a bad mood. Also the last time it snowed and got icy, my wife fell down and sprained her ankle. She had a hard time walking for weeks. I just wish I could move to Hawaii
The cinema is great, best way to see a movie IMO as long as I have a big comfy seat in the middle of the back row & a gallon of Coke & a bucket of popcorn
