If it's that big of an issue, they will leave - they will simply go wherever is better for their business. I don't think they will though. They've made some noise about relocating operations but nothing concrete.

It's not so much the fact that they aren't weather enthusiasts as it is the fact that they THINK they know a lot about weather when in reality they know next to nothing. People who aren't weather enthusiasts and are just inquisitive or curious and not arrogant and stubborn are fine by me.

Yeah, the ones coming on here who are curious about things and can admit that they're not very knowledgeable are cool with me. It's like you said, the ones that THINK they know. There's some that you even present evidence and scientific data to their face and still try to argue their stupid points.

Many have already suggested that they will if the UK gets a poor deal. However, the most likely scenario is that hey will relocate a number of their staff. Ultimately, there's no real equivalent to London as a financial center within Europe. It's main rivals are places such as New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.

I admit, I fall into the latter category. I just have an interest in weather, and I enjoy learning from you guys. I don't think there's any harm in that.

Agreed. The only thing that annoys me about non-regulars is that they think they know more than people who spend time analyzing models and reading weather info every day.

Hey dunno, you believe the second Scottish referendum will happen? I have a sneaky suspicion the Tories + Lib Dems will block it in the Commons and use it as a stick against Corbyn to say he's not standing up for the union?

As for belonging in the unhappy thread, I think the SNP behave like spoilt brats. Scotland is like a poor man's Norway yet their government pretend to be this big thing that everyone should listen to.

Hope Spain shuts them down from EU membership if they became independent, imagine that meltdown?

Someone who actually knows WTF they're talking about lol. Someone who studies weather/climate and is fascinated by it. Someone who takes the time out of their day to study models and look at forecasts. Things like that....lol
