It's only an extra £200/£300 return, I am sure you can save for that.

(And it's not rich people, i've flown in Business class twice myself and there's been teenagers travelling alone)
Actually, owenc, what is now "premium economy" on some airlines used to be regular economy before they started squeezing in more seats than what the aircraft was designed for. It's a seedy freaking practice designed to get people to pay more. Open your eyes.

Only 300 pounds extra - that's about $500-550, that may be loose change for your parents, but it is a lot of money to me that could be spent on other things. Glad your parents could afford business class tickets for you, 99.99% of teenagers in the real world could only dream of being spoilt like that. Hell, 99.99% of working adults could only dream of affording business class.

Too much money. Flight and hotel already eat up a large chunk of a travel budget.

It's unbelievable to me that people would spend that much money just to rent a better seat for a couple hours when you can do so much with $550 lmao. Such a ****ing waste.

I travel a lot but I never fly anything other than economy.

Owenc thinks that it is no object for anyone to afford it, when he has been given everything on a silver platter, including business class tickets as he just boasted. Easy for the little bugger to talk when his parents spoon feed him money, never having to work a day in his life.
