Well I dont know anything about Melbourne so those are funny to me lol. Perhaps if he was railing on New York or on Lima I'd be more upset

anything about increased crime/expensive prices are true facts unfortunately, but the rest is just due to his political alignment

Well prices are a very serious issue. After spending half a year in South America I'm much more conscious about how I spend the money. I used to think nothing of spending 20 dollars on eating out, or spending 70 dollars to go hang out in the city, but now I feel awful doing that. Knowing that in other parts of the world, 20 dollars worth of food is gonna be enough to last you days, or knowing that 70 dollars is the cost of a plane ticket, as opposed to a bus ticket. I don't spend money like I used to
