It's only appropriate that the ****tiest month of the year starts on a Monday.

I actually prefer August to June or July.

August is the hottest month on average in Miami.

I would too if August was actually a late summer month as opposed to the hottest month of the ****ing year.

Landscape is nicer in early summer, IMO. Lusher, more flowers, more birds singing.

I like early summer more too, I also don't mind heat as much in early summer either. Once mid-August comes around however it gets tiresome (been hot for months already) and there is absolutely no end in sight yet. I think mid-late August is the worst time of year down here, IMO.

Also early summer sees better thunderstorms, probably because a greater land/sea temperature difference + stronger sun = better convection. Late summer is better for tropical development though.

Weather-wise, August is usually better here than June, about the same as July - on average that is. Not been great for the past 10 years. Only thing I dislike is the rapidly shortening days.

August is slightly drier on average here, which I like. Fewer thunderstorms.. again I like. Warmest sea temps on average here. I like that late summer vibe too. Sun angle not quite as bad as June and July.

And Ukrainian Independence Day is in August. 25 years this year.
