Says the guy that thinks 25 C is hot and muggy lol....
Btw you don't really live in a winter climate either, with your 7 C average highs hardly anything notable or that would keep me inside.
And if nei, who's half my size and doesn't like the cold goes outside and takes pictures pretty frequently in winter, I would have no issue going outside myself.
Um, I wasn't insinuating that snow/cold was anything to do with staying inside, more to do with the fact that daylight hours are short and thus restrictive.
*It can get cold here. It was highs of 29-36F all week recently.. I was carrying out a Lab experiment yesterday and soil temps were running at around -0.4c even as the temps were running up, so it shows how cold it has been.*
Did you even see the protest? Barely any Aboriginal people there.
Although I understand the Aboriginal and their tormented past, I still think that we should stop opting for such violent protests. They're not making themselves look good.
And yes, most of the protesters were white. Doesn't really help at all. If the government sees more aboriginals protesting maybe THEN they change the date. Virtue signalers wouldn't assist a date alteration.
Come on man, SAD affects a lot of people especially those living in gloomy climates. My energy levels become much higher from May onwards, I actually usually have really high energy all the way up until December normally. I'm pretty sure if I lived in a climate with a shorter winter I wouldn't be affected as much by this
I don't like long stretches of clouds and I'd much rather have sun, but the cloudiness doesn't fill up my thoughts, give me depression, keep me indoors, etc.
I am a very active guy and clouds don't stop me from doing anything. I've done long hikes in 100 degree heat and ran 8-10 miles in 20 degree weather. The only thing that does keep me indoors is cold rain. If it's below 65-70 and raining, I find it very unpleasant to be outdoors, but otherwise weather won't force me to stay inside.
I wouldn't, because I don't let silly things like that keep me inside. I couldn't care less if it's dark, cold, cloudy, etc outside.
It's an excuse mostly used by lazy fat people who wouldn't go outside anyway.
Although fewer people outside on gloomy, dark days is pretty good if you don't like there being too many people about. I don't use the weather as an excuse unless it's pouring with rain (there are few things I hate more than being wet while fully clothed).
