Saw the soccer discussions yesterday, unfortunately I struggle to care anymore about that sport. I miss the days when Deportivo La Coruña fought for La Liga every single year, when Porto won the Champions League, when Real Sociedad almost tipped Real Madrid over, when Celta Vigo and Mallorca could travel to Madrid and win 5-1, when Italy had seven top teams that could win the league and be competitive in Europe, when Bundesliga was exciting every year and when Steven Gerrard was in his low 20's

These days it's just bland and boring. Okay Leicester last year yes but that was a 1 in every 100 years event and it's not like they were out of money either.

This year Sevilla is in third place, 2 behind Barca and 3 behind Real, even more impressive since Barca and Real usually get all the favorable calls going their way. I swear whenever Barca is struggling late in a game, they always get a penalty to tie it or win it Either way I was so happy when Celta Vigo beat Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey. Italy is slowly getting back to its roots, Napoli and Roma are playing exciting football and giving Juventus a bit of a challenge, although it might take a couple of years before the Juve domination ends. They poached the best Napoli and Roma players last year which is annoying France is really exciting this year and their overall performance is much higher in Europe. Whereas previously PSG would win Ligue 1 by like 50 points and then get knocked out in the Round of 16

It's always rigged against clubs like Sevilla, Napoli etc especially in countries with more corruption like those.

Does off peak train mean I can use the ticket at any time that day? I've booked a train for the wrong time.

Only on a Saturday & Sunday. During the week off peak will be at quieter times of the day, so usually after 10am & before 5pm, then after 7pm for example...

I don't understand why so many people pay with debit cards.

If I pay for something, it's only ever with cash (i.e., banknotes & coins) or a credit card. And just pay it in full every month. Why let yourself get charged interest? The rewards programs typically make it worthwhile--that's been my experience.
