Wales is alright, and they actually want to be part of the UK for the most part.

Not a great line-up, but the lesser of the two evils in my eyes.

Idk about Northern Ireland.. But I don't think it would make sense for a small island like Britain to be split up into countries. The UK would not be as powerful broken up into tiny countries.

I will say though, I don't think there is as much desire for the UK in England. They don't seem to care about the whole idea of being a "United" Kingdom. Infact sometimes I get the impression they think the constituent parts are foreign countries.

Sanders is probably more of a LibDem than Labour I'd say in terms of British politics. His support for Israel and a more limited welfare state than Labour wants speaks volumes on that.

I find it funny when I see Republican Irishmen argue that Ireland should united because a small island should naturally be united, but then support Scottish independence

Tbh I don't think the present arrangement can continue, Scotland should remain in the UK but be given more autonomy. Wales is generally happy with the current arrangement.

We could let go of NI and it wouldn't make a difference.. you are just a drain on us to be honest. And as for Scotland, they pretty much are as well. We pay for their tuition fees etc and all they can do is complain. But I don't really blame them

Corbyn definitely! The Maltese Labour party doesn't share many ethics with the UK version & I can't see Corbyn & members of his cabinet opening secret Panama bank accounts days after winning the election, selling UK passports to any Tom, Dick or Harry that want's EU citizenship (plus taking kickbacks from the sales), opening a bank for the purpose of money laundering & for the laundering of the corrupt Azerbaijan governments dirty money, selling land & property for peanuts to their Labour friends, taking bank handers, favours for votes etc...

If I was able to vote here I would have definitely voted for the Nationalist Party. They are pretty much the Conservative party, but a bit more left wing (one of their councillors is transsexual) & although they have had corruption within their party in the past, nothing to the level of the current Labour party & they wanted to clean up Maltese politics & put in place new measures to stop corruption. Unfortunately since they lost the election the leader of the Nationalists, Simon Busuttil has handed in his resignation, I really think he would have made a great PM for Malta

I've been thinking about this. I think there's too much hatred of the Union in England. Maybe a Federal UK or maybe Crown Dependencies.

I think England is too distinct, it's got it's own set of problems which are unique and seperate to NI and Scotland.

I also think the atitude in England of thinking "oh we'll ignore them and everything will work out" doesn't help so maybe it'd be better for the devolved administrations to have their own powers to sort things out themselves.

I don't think there's any point in holding on to something that's broken.
