English people let things go to **** i.e dire straits before they complain.

Complaining is seen as a weak thing.

Anyway, you know this.

Not if your are renting a house you don't Do you honestly think English people would put up with having no running water or central heating in a house they were paying to live in, just because they thought it would be ever such a terrible inconvenience to mention it to their landlord? lol

Er yeah. I don't complain as much here because it's seen as a negative thing. They blow me off a lot of the time anyway.

Like today they said they'd be around to fix the heating and they didn't bother their arses.
