Did you take ill? I fail to remember you writing about it?
I wouldnt call it ill, I just had a very annoying cough+sinus problem. Not severe enough to take off school, but severe enough to be a pain in the butt
English people let things go to **** i.e dire straits before they complain.
Complaining is seen as a weak thing.

Not if your are renting a house you don't Do you honestly think English people would put up with having no running water or central heating in a house they were paying to live in, just because they thought it would be ever such a terrible inconvenience to mention it to their landlord? lol
