Out of these three cities, which has the hottest and most humid summers?

Des Moines, Iowa
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Chicago, Illinois

They are all about the same. I think Des Moines would be first, have to look at their data more closely. I know Chicago has a slightly higher average dew point, and max/min temps than Minneapolis.

Record extreme highs are also higher in Chicago in June and July, but not May, August or September. Minneapolis most 90 degree days is 44, Chicago's is 48, both occuring in 1988.

Chicago's record dew point is just slightly above Minneapolis. 83F to 82F.

Basically identical summers
