The predominant trade winds would blow in the direction opposite to what direction they blow now but I don't think you would see anything significantly different. The sun's effect upon the earth would be the same except the sun would rise in the west instead of the east and would set in the east. The references to east and west are switched from what it is now, but i cannot see what else would change.

You'd see huge differences owing both to the trade winds and the effect of the reversed Coriolis effect on ocean currents. Basically, take all west coast temperate climates (oceanic, Mediterranean) and place them on the east coast as moderated by geography, and vice versa (humid subtropical, especially).
