Rainfall days are 0.2mm+, humidity is at 3pm. An above average month, especially minimum temps, first time July has seen min temps 10C or above since 1993. Rainfall above average but not record breaking. YTD temperatures continue to be the highest on record, that may change in the coming months with the Bureau predicting a cooler than normal Aug-Oct period and 2013 just going crazy with the heat in those three months.
I didn't experience any of July in Sydney, having been in Hong Kong and Japan, where the weather was excellent.
July was warm, wet and sunny. High temperatures weren't anything special, low temperatures almost constantly above average. Heat was moderate but constant, oppressive and combined with high humidity rates. Both mean temperatures and record highs weren't anywhere close to those of the hottest July months of the last decade.
79 mm of rainfall fell in a single huge thunderstorm with torrential downpours.
