Nice, wish the front was a couple hours slower so I could have hit 80. Last 80 in December was 2007.

I checked KMIA out of curiosity, they had a high of 86 F and a low of 79 F today. Next 7 days all have highs at or above 80 F.

I think AJ will be taking a break for a long while.

We nearly hit 80F yesterday, but the temp maxed out at 79F. So hopefully we will make it through this December without reaching 80F.

Today's high was reached at midnight when it was 53F. It's been in the upper 30's to low 40's throughout the day today. 41F at 4 PM with a wind chill of 33F and a mostly clear sky.

This morning had to be the coldest 25F I've ever felt because of the wind. Forgot what a difference that makes.

It stayed at 25F for 8 hours straight until dropping to 24 now.

Topped out at 58°F, sun came out for about half an hour this morning after the rain, but otherwise it was wet cloudy day.

Screenshot from the app for my weather station:

You can see where the fronts pushed through today. I wish the graph showed more detail, but thankfully the temp/humidity/pressure data is saved to a file that can be exported to Numbers/Excel.

I think it's gonna end up going in as 78F (see the 12:53 obs) but yeah. Warmest December Low ever (breaking the record low of 77F set last year)

Gulf of Mexico is still quite warm

Damn cold today

Pattern flip looking likely last week of December and into start of January. Nevertheless, this month will end up below average for Chicagoland.

A lot of people on the southeasternwx forum seem convinced come mid January we will see a 1985 level cold blast.... lunacy?science? Or guts? Cambium anything that even hints at that?
