1pm CST temps. Just playing around with the 2m Temp color table a bit.
I Like how the Sub zero and 80s temps pops on the eyes, not sure about the 40s
Closeup.. WOW!! 70s and 20s not far apart in Kansas.
Without colors but with Satellite on
Teens and sunny in Nebraska. 51° here
Mid 50s here, while 60s and 70s all around us. I hate cold air damming lol. We got a shot at 70 tomorrow but I'm worried with cold air damming we will bust far lower than forecast as we usually do. Today though we are a bit above the forecast actually, same yesterday when we got to 48 so there may be hope.
Big forecast overshoot here. Only supposed to hit 45 but it's currently 50. It's overcast, but dry with a dew of 23, so it feels quite nice. Walked around with shorts and a sweatshirt.
Low of only 38 so far. Warmer than the 5 highs before yesterday's 39.
All the snow melted except a few isolated piles. I love snow but I'm not a fan of long lasting snow packs, so this is a nice change of pace.
It appears that the NWS overdid the forecast high temperature for Indianapolis; they forecasted that Indianapolis would reach the mid 50's, and the high temperature so far today has only made it up to 46 Degreesalso, Indianapolis just had a batch of showers and thundershowers move through the area within the past hour.
Around 50 as well in Pittsburgh, and most of the snow has melted due to rising temperatures and rain (except for the plowed piles). Supposed to get to the upper 50's tomorrow, and back to normal by Friday and Saturday (low to mid 30s). 1 to 2" of snow as well, but looks to rise back to the 40's by next week
I see that you have your location posted as IN, if you don't mind me asking what exactly do you consider the Lower MidWest to be?
Lower Midwest is anything south of Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN- etc, down to the Ohio River.
