Looking over both climates I change my mind. Liverpool's summers dont even reach 70f which is depressing! And its winters are still too cold so you're gonna need a coat either way whether you are in Nova Scotia or the UK. It would need winter highs of like at least 12°c to make up for that summer. So I pick Nova Scotia, at least you get a few months of 70 degree weather

The one in Nova Scotia is far better, and would be an A+ if the springs were warmer and the summers a bit wetter.

Summers are very wet even for being continental though? I think personally the wet summers are a minus.

They are generally the result of years of neglect. Poor river management, building homes in flood plains, etc. Rather than that part of the world being exceptionally wet.
