Lillehammer was close though on Oct 13th - high of 1.1C
Seems Lillehammer must wait untill Nov.
Tromsø (20 m) also no icedays so far, but first overnight air frost / freeze on Oct 18th with -1C. Yr
Looking at the forecast, it seems Nov 3. or 4th might be an ice-day in Tromsø.
No ice days - or any more freezing lows - in the forecast here in Trondheim.
My area has not gotten to freezing yet. 10 days late as of today and not looking likely to happen anytime soon as the forecast high 4 days from now is 82F and the lowest low in the 10-day forecast is 46F...
First high below 15c? 7th October (10th October)
First high below 10c? 12th November (according to the latest forecast, 9th November)
First high below 5c? 15th December
First frost? 20th November
Turku first freeze / overnight air frost: Oct 6th.
Londons first freeze/air frost: November 15th.
Guess these four:
A) First overnight freeze /air frost in Trondheim (recorded at the airport, Værnes)?
Last year was very late, Oct 28th.
My guess: Oct 8th
B) First ice-day (sub 0C high) in Trondheim (Værnes)?
Last year did not happen untill Nov 21th.
My guess: Nov 2th.
You probably have no clue about these two: C) First ice-day in Lillehammer? Only one station there, 240 m asl. D) First ice-day in Tromsø: (station: Tromsø-Holt 20 m asl)
My guess for the last two was: Lillehammer's first ice-day: Last year was Nov 19th. My guess: Nov 5th
Tromsø's (20 m) first ice-day: Last year was Nov 22th. My guess: Nov 15th
A. Happened on Oct 6th - I missed by two days and was closest.
B. Still waiting. probably will happen soon.
C: First Iceday in Lillehammer was Nov 3th with high of -1.3C. My guess was closest, missed by two days.
D: First iceday in Tromsø (20 m) was Nov 3. with high -0.1C. Closest was Sindudanlej aka Kronan, which guessed Oct 28th.
