I want all parts of winter to be fully loaded.

Ideally I don't want to see above-freezing temps from October till April.

Also there should a great deal of snow which accumulates throughout the season at a roughly uniform rate.

If I had to pick one I guess I'd choose backloaded because it's a special treat when the cold/snow lingers into March and April when it's not ordinarily supposed to. Gives a good feeling.

I voted for mid loaded but you forgot to add a category for totally snowed in for the entire winter from after Thanksgiving until May first. Fresh snow on top of a foot of snow is so beautiful. Especially if it clings to the bare trees for more the a couple of days. There's nothing more depressing then looking at frozen dirt for most of the winter.

Toss up between front and mid for me too. Need that white Christmas and I can't go through a dreary dark November/December like last year. But you definitely want it to stick around in January and February too. Once March comes it can be gone. I'm fine with that ha ha.

Perhaps this is where you ought to move? A wet subarctic climate

I was going to add All or None but I think they would of thrown off the poll. Was more curious if you had to choose which part of it would people want.

Nice reading with the posts in this thread.

If I had to have a winter.. I would much rather a heavily front loaded one with most wintry weather done by January.

Good question. Toss-up between front and mid. I love snow and cold early on and around the holidays but it kind of wears off by late February. However, a cold peak in December would lead to a very long, and therefore slow, warmup in spring which I don't want. I could avoid that by having summer peak in June, but that would cause a drawn-out fall which I would hate. A lot of people are answering just on the winter, but for me it also depends heavily on other seasons. I guess I'd prefer winter to be most loaded in December in January which is kinda in between mid and front.

Idk what to vote for.
