I just thought this would be an interesting way to do a sort of climate battle.

Mine:

Favorite climate in my own country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breckenridge
Favorite climate outside my country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Davos

For me these are about equal. There are advantages and disadvantages to each (for example, Breckenridge is too dry while Davos has a not-ideal precipitation pattern), but overall it balances out.

Your link went to Chisinau... but I'd like Ann Arbor better.

Ponta Delgada full stop for me. But MÃ¥lilla is very nice by Swedish standards!

I meant compare your own two, not those of the person before you. But that will work too

Victoria, BC within Canada

vs.

Oranjestad, Aruba globally

Oranjestad wins by light years

Whoops. I changed it to Ann Arbor because of the precipitation, but the link didn't change. But both are A+.

My own country hands down.

Scottsbluff, NE and the rest of the high plains destroy anywhere else in the world. Outside of America, I'll go with Bishkek.

Victoria is milder than Norman all three winter months.

I choose
Harrisburg, PA within the U.S.
Nagano, Japan globally

I think I'll give the edge to Harrisburg for more day-to-day variation.

Charleston (SC), United States. (national favorite)

Brisbane, Australia. (global favorite)

I think Brisbane is the most perfect climate on Earth, but I find Charleston more interesting and exciting. I'd be (extremely) happy in either climate.

May I ask what you find interesting and exciting about Charleston's climate?
