No real diversity, i like pleasant temperatures for most of the year being in t-shirt and shorts but i like a bit of a cool down for a couple of months aswell just for a change. Also what about ski-fields, your climate seems like its just aimed at summer sports so the amount of things to do throughout the year is pretty much the same. I'll take Canterbury New Zealands climate any day with tons of nice beaches, Ski fields, mountain biking tracks, white water rafting and stunning lakes . Currently we get around 2100-2200 hours of sunshine a year but i could do with 2500 for it to be near perfect
It only has one truly semi comfortable to comfortable month in January then most of the months look a little too monotonously warm with nights that are balmy following those warm days so there is no real respite. There are far worse tropical climates with all that being said though!
Wow; A+ from me. What would the elevation range be?
The city itself has a mean elevation of 320 ft (100 m) above sea level, but the country has elevations as high as 7500 ft (2300 m) above sea level. However, these are several hundred miles away from the city; FH 62 alone won't take you to the highest peaks.
And thanks for the good rating

Don't worry about thunderstorms: the city averages 60 thunderstorms over the course of the year, with about 15 "good" ones and 2 severe ones.

Thunderstorm count to little, summer nights to cool. Winter nights to cool. If I am gonna live in a tropical climate like that it has to have warmer nights and at least 100 thunderstorms. A solid B. Hopefully goes a lot of tropical storm threats.

Tropical storms and hurricanes only come within 200 miles every forty years on average, and a tropical storm making landfall near the city is a once-in-500 years event.

Your welcome! I would absolutely thrive in that climate & your addition of the elevation range confirms it. I live in a city that has a 2,000+ range in elevation just within city limits.
I'm not well versed in weather but I'm fascinated by it. I'm a Wunderground "lurker" & I find it interesting to note the live wind directions in neighborhoods where the elevation changes dramatically. It seems as if it literally creates a "weather vortex".
Is there a location IRL that comes close to this ideal place?
