Hobart has no subtropical characteristics whatsoever; at least NYC has a few.
Hobart has the same climate as here and even is slightly warmer in winter than here, so that would be like saying my climate has no subtropical characteristics. My climates has plenty of subtropical characteristics such as winter flowering species, abundant bird and insect life during winter and a diurnal temperature range greater than than seasonal temperature range -common in climates with subtropical environments.
Not sure what subtropical characteristics NYC has, that my climate doesn't have.
That's just means it has hot and humid summers, I don't see it's environment shaped by that.
It's undeniably Cfa, but subtropical?-I just don't see it.
