Now warmer. 16C/61F. I just opened the door and it's actually warmer outside. At night, in late November! With the damp weather, I'm afraid these are excellent conditions for mold to form.

Interesting thread. It shows a wide range of required temperatures people want to be comfortable.

My basement room is like that even with like 24c inside. I've even seen the windows fogged up inside!

It happened to me too a couple weeks ago! Might as well buy a dehumidifier.

21.1C inside & 18.0C outside...

A dehumidifier is a must here in the winter, otherwise everything feels damp & you get patches of mold on the walls & even on clothes in the wardrobe! Last winter was great though as because it was so dry I didn't need to use ours once.

It's mid-December, yet I haven't had the heating on for more than a week and it's still 18-19C at home. Even though it happened last year as well, it still feels weird. December has been more than 2C warmer than November so far this year.

I have a dehumidifier in my living room as well. When I switch it on in the mornings and evenings it's usually about 70% RH, I try and get it down to 60% before turning it off.
