This is technically false.
Considering 53 million years ago Antarctica was covered in palm trees, things aren't very warm on Earth right now. In the 100 years of usable weather history we have on this 4.5 billion year old rock (which is 0.0000000222% of the Earth's weather history) we are in a slightly warmer period. However, we still have not recovered from the most recent Ice Age.
The Earth is far below average temperature historically, and considering every year the sun is getting hotter and hotter, that's saying something.
Ultimately, our weather history means absolutely nothing given the age of the Earth and anyone that thinks otherwise is off their rocker. The dinosaurs roamed a much warmer planet. Must've been all those dinosaur farts causing global warming.
