As far as having the worst winters by city- I would give that sort of credit/distinction to cities like Fairbanks Alaska or International Falls, Minnesota, because both cities IMO are unbearably cold and with long, very cold, and to a lesser extent snowy winters, but this is just my opinion, I am sure that the cold and snow lovers would say that cities like Los Angeles, Phoenix or Miami would have the worst winters, but to each his own, everyone had different tastes when it comes to the ideal winter climate/ weather

In my childhood, we lived in Erzincan for 4 years but I don't remember how weather was because I was a child back then. When I was 6 years old, we moved to Erzincan and when I was 10 years old, we left Erzincan. I studied primary school in Erzincan.
We also went to Erzurum when we were living in Erzincan but I don't remember how weather was because I was a child back then. Erzincan is close to Erzurum. It takes 2 hours and 20 minutes by car.
Today, I sweated terribly even if weather was partly cloudy ( partly cloudy, partly sunny). I guess humidity was very high today because after I sweated terribly in partly cloudy weather, it started raining.
I don't know what was the highest temperature yet. what was the highest temperature of today will be written in the offical website a couple hours later. I am waiting to see it. If the temperature was not high, then it was humidity that made me sweat terribly. I was sitting and sweating without doing nothing. Can you even imagine that?
I doubt that 30*C in İzmit and 30*C in Chicago feel the same Summers are very humid here
Top chart is Izmit, bottom is my town 35 miles south of the city of Chicago
Averages temperatures are quite incorrect in that website. Far from offical values. I looked at some places in Turkey and average temperatures were far from offical values. It was 4*C warmer than offical value ( I said ''Celsius'').
İzmit also doesn't have a 35*F average low in January. İzmit has a warmer average low in January.
Same here, but that doesn't mean it has to continue warming though. Depends on plenty of factors.
Seems as if we have peaked already at noon 87F/31C... We warmed up quick because the humidity is so low today.
Bumped up another couple degrees. 89F now pushing 90F. So easy to warm when the dew points are low

I only used that website for Dew Point and Humidity levels.

This report illustrates the typical weather in İzmit, based on a statistical analysis of historical hourly weather reports and model reconstructions from January 1, 1980 to December 31, 2016
I went to Wiki, and see that Izmit from May to September have very similar temps as to here.
