If the GFS is right maybe. But I'm taking that with a grain of salt because the GFS sucked in February.

We'll see. The GFS has temps at 2 meters that would be in the single digits in NYC... The Euro doesn't look that cold. Hopefully March will start very chilly and end very warm so that the astronomical winter will end on a high note.

I'll comment with a question... Do you mean in regards to temps? Precip? How far out? past 7 days? 5-8 days? 10+ days? Need more specifics to your comment.

JMA outlook seems promising for a spring warmth after mid March

Ahh, ok, thanks. Yeah, temps and trends past 11 days. I agree, was bad this month. Storms No. It caught onto our snowstorms 9+ days away. I'm too lazy to find my posts proving this. lol

That looks good. But what I meant by ending on a high note is that winter ends with something that was lacking in December through February.

Spoiler
Temps below 10°F

Other models hinting the cold as well now. Watch Accuweather Paulie P mentioned the 6z GFS. Watch what happens in California and at the North Pole and what could happen in Eastern U.S
