It is nice when cooler weather keeps the flowers on everything longer.

80F forecast for today, and 82F tomorrow. That is June weather.

Generally above average this week for much of CONUS. Wet too. I highly doubt this will be a drought/dry summer.

6-10 right now looks warm as well according to GFS

I am not a fan of dry summers at all. Everything burns up and doesn't look as lush. I am hoping for much better tstorm activity than last summer. I hope temps remain close to average as well.

Analogs for El Nino onset during summer look cool (at least for here). 2002, 2004, 2009, and maybe 2015

Can't for the life of me understand why all the models are calling for a warmer than normal summer here

11:45am temps.. 70s inland, low 60s near coast, mid 60s in between

I'm at 63°. Look at Southeast CT and parts of Long Island. Still 50s.

Hudson Valley warming up fast too. 70s just over the CT state line in southern NY. Wow!

1pm.

Couple things to point out..

1. Montreal in 70s
2. Long Island and Bridgeport CT in 50s
3. No clouds over the ocean
4. Some local spots hitting 80

Danbury, CT 72. Bridgeport 56. 16 degree difference in matter of 25 miles. I'm at 66. Always the middle of those 2 stations. That 69 is White Plains (HPN airport). A suburb of NYC. They are sometimes close to my OBS.

72F at the airport now! If we reach 75F today, it will be the first time since April 13 2014! Before that, it last happened on April 16 2012
