Can't for the life of me understand why all the models are calling for a warmer than normal summer here

Long range models are useless imo. Never trust them. Only ten days out is worth anything, and even that can be highly inaccurate. We just won't know until the summer gets here. At least standard deviation is always lower in summer than winter.

4. Some local spots hitting 80

Danbury, CT 72. Bridgeport 56. 16 degree difference in matter of 25 miles. I'm at 66. Always the middle of those 2 stations. That 69 is White Plains (HPN airport). A suburb of NYC. They are sometimes close to my OBS.
Wow. Poor Long Island and the Capes. Upstate New York is insane, from one of the coldest parts of the country to being one of the warmest in a matter of days

26C or 79F right now in Saint-Anicet, Québec. Close to the border with New York State.

MDW and ORD spiked to 78F/26C

Storms firing over the Southside of Chicago around MDW and south suburbs not far from me

Lake Oneida climates lucked out, even reached 80F. Feels amazing with the wind and the low humidity. Warmest April day here in 3 years, and the way it's going now, we are on pace for the first above average April here in six years!

It does not appear on that map above but the furthest north I've found 70F (or about 21C) today is Cap-Tourmente, which is about an hour northeast of Quebec City. There appear to be 70s F (or close) here and there in that area right now.

It's windy and raining fairly heavy outside right now good to see, got a moderately heavy rain shower earlier today too. There has been a decent amount of threatening clouds on the horizon all day as well. Why can't more of April be like this?
