It's actually pretty cold here for March 3. Just reached 40F at 3pm.
Yeah, I know

This weekend has 76/64 for both Saturday and Sunday and it looks fairly cool compared to what we've recently had.

So next week Cold & Snow OR Warm & Rain? YUGE differences. 7 days away.

Euro left. GFS Right

Euro model digs the trough deep next Thursday March 9th and a Clipper comes down across the Ohio Valley on the 10th then up the New England coast with a nice interior snowstorm.

GFS is a Lake cutter. lol Storm goes to Great Lakes and we're actually warm for same time frame.

Snow totals from the Euro

Please don't ask for timing, we don't even know when or what the storm will do yet.

Tomorrow night has the potential to be the coldest night of the year for me, forecast is 16°F, my lowest temp so far is the same. I hope the forecast busts warm. There's no snowcover around for hundreds of miles.

I'd be afraid of early warmth if I lived in the South. It isn't as big of an issue here since our averages are cooler, which translates to a later "spring", also our average last freeze occurs in late March, which is typical of the mid South. Basically, our window for freeze damage is quite a bit smaller than it is for most of the South.

Let's hope that the euro model is wrong about the set up for once. So tired of this bs garbage weather that has been here all winter long. Looking forward of getting rid of this cold weather and I am so ready for spring alreadylets hope that the eastern half of this country is spared the worst when it comes to any more arctic outbreaks or snow for the rest of this winter
